Card Transaction Management Applications
PCCL established that many organisations using purchasing and corporate cards reached a point during programme growth whereby the amount of manual work required to cost allocate transactions equalled the same amount of manual work that had previously been required to process standard supplier paper invoices. Consequently, the card users failed to achieve the maximum benefits of using purchasing and corporate cards and frequently these card programmes stopped growing and "flat-lined" for long periods of time.
To overcome this issue, PCCL developed Card Transaction Management Applications. These web based applications provide customers with functionality to view each transaction, amend and add data to the transaction, including essential costing and accounting data, split transactions and create any number of expenditure information reports.
PCCL Card Transaction Management Applications can be provided with a hierarchy structure to allow review and approval of transactions before data is exported into customer accounting systems.
Each PCCL Card Transaction Management Application is provided with an interface file, constructed to upload cost allocation data into the customers' accounting system. PCCL has provided these types of upload cost allocation files for most of the popular accounting systems, including Oracle, SAP, Coda, Peoplesoft, Agresso, JD Edwards and many more.
The basic functionality of the PCCL Card Transaction Management Applications was later used as the basis for the GPC / Visa Transaction Management eSolutions Software, also provided by PCCL.
