	Benchmarking Tools Before implementing changes to existing purchase to pay processes, many organisations require to benchmark how much time (and consequently how much cost) is associated with their existing purchase to pay processes. They may also wish to establish the environmental impact, in terms of paper use and subsequent waste. A Business Case is often compiled to justify any changes and to measure improvements at a later stage. To assist with these requirement, PCCL developed a series of benchmarking tools to allow buyers and suppliers to carry out this vital exercise. These tools are featured on the UK Governments' Official Benchmarking Site. PCCL were also contracted by the Office of Government Commerce buying.solutions to carry out a Refresh of the National Savings Figure of £28 per card transaction established originally by the National Audit Office.
